Societies

British Clematis Society - The British Clematis Society encourages, informs and promotes the growth and enjoyment of clematis in gardens.

International Clematis Society - The Society aims to improve and extend the cultivation of clematis, scientific research and international co-operation.

Royal Horticultural Society - The RHS provides first class resources and facilities for gardeners and gardening. Their site includes :- Plant Finder On-Line, Seasonal Advice and details of Flower Shows.

Clematis on the Web - One of the most useful sites for Clematis pictures. Two friends of ours maintain this site, which is non-commercial and is sponsored by The University of Hull. It has a very helpful search facility and many pictures.

www.guernsey-clematis.co.uk - Raymond Evison's Guernsey Clematis Nursery is one of the largest in the world. His new introductions are a regular feature at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Just be careful when you read about the hard pruning in July (their mid-winter!)
